I've been a web developer professionally for over 20 years. During that time I've worked sites big and small yet I have always found time to dabble in new and exciting projects and different proof's of concepts. Some of these are captured below.
ALEXA VOICE APP: Flight Spotter
Ever wonder where that plane overhead is going to, or coming from. I created this skill for airline buffs, so we can ask Alexa "What's that Plane"? She'll look at everything within 10 miles of your location and tell you: "There is a Republic Airlines Embraer 175, 6.36km away. Flight RPA4318 is headed from Boston Logan Intl in Boston, MA to LaGuardia in New York, NY".
ALEXA VOICE APP: Greenburgh School Academic Day Skill
My school district operates on a six-day academic schedule. It's always difficult to remember what academic day it is. With this skill, you can ask Alexa what day it is today, tomorrow or any date in the future or past. It was created as a proof of concept to see if I could query the data from a server and have Alexa ready it out.

WEBSITE: Beeline Bus Locator Map
The Beeline Bus System serves my county in New York. I recently started taking this in the mornings and was frustrated with the lack of a published timetable for my stop. So I thought, wouldn't it be great to be able to know where the bus is and when it's near? I dug around online and found a link to real-time data feeds for the Beeline Bus locations throughout the system! Jackpot!! Could I build an website that would display the location information on a map in near real-time? I did and here it is: Beeline Bus Locator

Created for a client so that they could share media files with their clients. Users can be restricted to certain projects and can comment back and forth to the project team.
